New Mexico Community Survey Seeks Public Feedback
The 2023 New Mexico Community Survey (NMCS) is available online in both English and Spanish, and community members are encouraged to respond and share their opinions. The survey helps in developing prevention programs within the state and has been extended through Sunday, May 7. If you take the survey, you have to option to enter a raffle for $100 or a final drawing for $500. The NMCS is completely anonymous, voluntary, available to all New Mexico residents 18 years of age or older, and is conducted by the Health Equity Council on behalf of the NM Office of Substance Abuse Prevention (NM OSAP) and the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE). The findings from this survey are used to better understand substance use and misuse across New Mexico and to better target prevention programming. Sustainability Public Meeting Seeks Community Input
Join the City’s Sustainability Office for a transportation-focused Climate Action Plan Implementation Community Engagement meeting. The community is invited to share their thoughts with the City, who will tailor its sustainability projects to meet the public’s needs and expectations. The upcoming Climate Action Plan Implementation Community Engagement meeting will focus on electric vehicle related projects and programs, including Transit’s Zero Emissions Plan, as well as opportunities for the public to provide input. The virtual meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, 5:00 – 6:00 pm via Zoom and the public is encouraged to attend. IDO Annual Update 2022 Meeting April 12th
The City Council’s Land Use, Planning, and Zoning (LUPZ) committee will hear proposed citywide changes to the Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO) on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 5 pm. This hybrid meeting takes place in the Vincent E. Griego Chambers in the basement of City Hall and via Zoom. See Zoom details below.
These citywide text amendments are legislative, so you may speak to Councilors directly about any of the proposed changes.
