League of Women Voters Offer Numerous Online Voting Resources

The League of Women Voters has a comprehensive website that offers many resources for voters this election year. There will be a general election on Tuesday, November 7, and residents are encouraged to learn as much as possible about candidates and issues that will be on voter ballots in several areas around New Mexico. Early Voting Begins and Same-Day Registration Locations Expand for General Election

The Count Clerk’s Office announced the beginning of early voting and the expansion of same-day registration locations for the November 8 General Election. There are 20 early voting convenience centers open, plus the Mobile Voting Unit is open as of October 22 through November 5. Most locations are open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

It is not too late to register to vote and cast a ballot in the New Mexico General Election. Same-day registration will be available at the 20 early voting convenience centers throughout early voting and at the 72 Election Day convenience centers on Election day, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022. Residents who want to register to vote must bring a valid photo ID and documentation reflecting an address within Bernalillo County.

Absentee Voting for Special Congressional Election Begins Tuesday, May 4

The 2021 Special Congressional Election will be held Tuesday, June 1 and the Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office will begin mailing absentee ballots out on Tuesday, May 4 and absentee voting begins that day, as well. Early Voting Happening Now Through October 31!

The Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office has announced early voting through Saturday, October 31 at 18 locations throughout Albuquerque. These voting convenience center will be open Mondays through Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Voters can cast a ballot in person or hand-deliver their completed absentee  ballots to these locations. There is also same-day voter registration at seven (7) of these locations. Early voting is conducted in accordance with the state public health order designed to minimize the risk of COVID-19. Masks will be required for all voters and all polling employees, and social distancing protocols will be required. Completed absentee ballots can also be delivered to a secure drop box outside 1 Civic Plaza NW at 5th and Marquette Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The final day to mail a completed absentee ballot is Tuesday, October 27.
