Northwest Area Command Hosting Two Community Events This Week

The Northwest Area Command of the Albuquerque Police Department is hosting two community events this week and the public is invited and encouraged to attend.

  • Taco with a Cop, Thursday, July 28 at 12:00 noon, Walgreens, 3400 Coors NW
  • Pizza with a Cop, Saturday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m., Dion’s at Coors and Montaño

“Recyclothes” Clothing Drive Coming in March

Mark your calendars for Keep ABQ Beautiful’s annual “Recyclothes” event, coming up on Saturday, March 19 at Hinkle Fun Center, 12901 Indian School NE, between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. In partnership with Locker #505 Student’s Clothing Bank, this event aims to collect new and gently used clothing for K-12 students.
