Second Annual Junk Jog on September 19th

Image

Please consider participating in the 2nd Annual Junk Jog on Saturday, September 19th (See Press Release and contact information).  The City will consider a Westside ‘junk’ pick-up location in Taylor Ranch should enough people show interest.

As you may already be aware, Councilor Borrego is committed to raising the bar in Albuquerque–improving our City’s appearance and sense of pride and respect for its location and people.  Her commitment to these ideals led her to sponsor O-18 in 2018: AMENDING SECTION 9-8-99 ROA 1994 AND SECTION 8-2-1-60 ROA 1994 TO ADD OR INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF A FINE ASSOCIATED WITH A LITTERING OFFENSE passed November 30, 2018.

Albuquerque’s Northwest side offers many outdoor amenities and walkable neighborhoods.  District 5 can continue to lead as an Albuquerque location proud of its qualities and willing to protect them.

Participants must register by Thursday, September 10th at 5 p.m. Register and learn more at oneabqvolunteers.com.
