The 2021 Special Congressional Election will be held Tuesday, June 1 and the Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office will begin mailing absentee ballots out on Tuesday, May 4 and absentee voting begins that day, as well. The Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office has announced early voting through Saturday, October 31 at 18 locations throughout Albuquerque. These voting convenience center will be open Mondays through Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Voters can cast a ballot in person or hand-deliver their completed absentee ballots to these locations. There is also same-day voter registration at seven (7) of these locations. Early voting is conducted in accordance with the state public health order designed to minimize the risk of COVID-19. Masks will be required for all voters and all polling employees, and social distancing protocols will be required. Completed absentee ballots can also be delivered to a secure drop box outside 1 Civic Plaza NW at 5th and Marquette Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The final day to mail a completed absentee ballot is Tuesday, October 27.
