Bernalillo County “Take A Ride on Us” Offers Uber Discount Code for the Holidays

The Bernalillo County Department of Behavioral Health Services, Cumulus Media, the New Mexico Department of Transportation, and Whitener Law Firm, announce details for a safe ride option for holiday party weekend celebrations. The Take a Ride on Us campaign is offering 1,000 rides, Friday through Sunday, beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at noon through Sunday, Dec. 18, at midnight. Participants can redeem the Uber code PARTY22 to get the discount. Each code is good for 2 rides per person, $10 off per ride. The credit can only be used for rides and not Uber Eats, and the discount doesn’t cover tip.

City Board and Commission Vacancies Encourage Residents to Apply

There are numerous openings available on several City boards and commissions and residents are encouraged to apply. The Albuquerque Museum Board of Trustees, the Balloon Museum Board of Trustees, the Biological Park Board, and the Transit Advisory Board all have vacancies available. Serving on a board is a great way to make your voice heard, and applicants from diverse backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply!
