NMDOT Hosting Online Public Meeting for I-25 Improved Project and Wants Your Feedback

he New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is hosting an online Public Meeting for the I-25 Improved project on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m. The project team will discuss proposed improvements to the I-25 corridor in Albuquerque between Comanche Road and Montgomery Boulevard, including the freeway, frontage roads and interchanges. Cibola Loop Neighborhood Meeting

You are invited to attend a neighborhood meeting to discuss a proposed senior multi-family housing community at Cibola Loop NW. The community will include approximately 116 total dwelling units and is a partnership between High Desert Housing and Blueline Development Inc.

The purpose of this meeting is to present members of the community with an overview of the project proposal, answer questions, and provide information to adjacent property owners and neighborhood organizations. The design and ownership team will be present to provide information and answer questions. We look forward to receiving your feedback.

Golf Course/Taylor Ranch Complete Streets Study Meeting August 5th

The City of Albuquerque, in partnership with the Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG), is conducting a Complete Streets Study on Taylor Ranch Road/Golf Course Road to identify the specific safety issues and challenges faced by pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit riders along the corridor. The Planning Department’s Land Management System (LMS) can be used to search various types of permit requests, including type of permit, status, issuance date and other pertinent information. An account is not required in order to use the system’s search features.
 
DRB, EPC and ZHE Public Hearings
The Development Review Board (DRB)Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) and Zoning Hearing Examiner (ZHE) offer functions associated with project review. Applications to these hearing bodies includes notification to property owners and neighborhood associations. A periodic check of the respective websites will also help to track proposals as they work their way through the review process.

Public Meeting on Elena Gallegos Open Space Improvements

The public is invited to an upcoming meeting to discuss site improvements at the Elena Gallegos Open Space, including roads and parking, Cottonwood Springs and nature trail, and the education center. The public meeting takes place Wednesday, July 21 at 6:00 p.m., both in person and via Zoom.
