Potential Citywide Composting Program Seeks Resident Feedback

The City is dedicated to hearing from community members and tailoring sustainability projects to meet the public’s needs and expectations. Currently, the City is asking community members to share their vision for a citywide composting program.

There are two ways to get involved: (1) attend one of the upcoming in-person listening sessions or (2) watch a short video describing the framework for the design project and fill out the short online feedback form.

There are two listening sessions each week through February 7th, and each is at a different library across town. View the list of listening sessions, view the video, and send feedback by visiting: https://www.cabq.gov/sustainability/waste/waste-resources#city

Message from Our State Representative

Cynthia D. Borrego
District 17

Dear District 17 Constituents,

I am deeply interested in your opinions on our current Legislative issues. Many of you have emailed me, and I appreciate reading your messages, as they help me determine how I will vote when the issue arises. My priorities are clear: public safety, economic development and jobs, housing, education, and mental health focuses. I am, however, always interested in listening to your concerns to determine or adjust my priorities. Also, you can go to our NM Legislature Website to find more information on my assigned committees, sponsored Bills, or other general information about me.

Please also fill out my online survey HERE or send an email to Cynthia.Borrego@nmlegis.gov or Cynthia4nmhouse@gmail.com anytime to express your interests, concerns, or thoughts.

Thank you, and kind regards.

Respectfully,

Representative Cynthia D. Borrego
