The City’s Environmental Health Department invites the public to an online presentation about the Homemade Food Act (HFA) and how it will impact residents. If you have questions about measles vaccinations or would like a copy of your vaccination records, this is the place to go. There have been no reported cases of measles in the Albuquerque metro area or Bernalillo County as of today’s date. Project Heart Start Day 2023 is this Saturday, April 15 and the public is encouraged to come out and get CPR-trained for free! Come out to University Stadium for one of three sessions and be trained by members of the UNM football team, women’s soccer team, and other athletes along with Project Heart Start staff. You’ll learn hands-only CPR, how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), how to save a choking victim and how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack. There is free parking at Stadium West, and sessions at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
