PNM Reminds Residents To Be Aware of Home Access Requests

The Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) reminds residents that they will never request access to the inside of a customer’s home. These types of requests may be a scam attempt so be aware. The only time access will be requested is if a customer has scheduled an appointment for services such as a Home Energy Checkup. Electric meter readers will access customer yards, since meters are located outside of homes and residences. If someone claiming to be from PNM requests access to the inside of your home, do not allow them in and call PNM immediately at 1-888-DIAL-PNM (1-888-342-5766.) League of Women Voters Offer Numerous Online Voting Resources

The League of Women Voters has a comprehensive website that offers many resources for voters this election year. There will be a general election on Tuesday, November 7, and residents are encouraged to learn as much as possible about candidates and issues that will be on voter ballots in several areas around New Mexico. Senior Gift Donation Drive

The Annual Senior Holiday Donation Drive is now collecting donations of new items to share with older adults in need this holiday season. All donations will go to homebound seniors. Help spread holiday cheer with your generous donation of new and unused items. Items needed include:

  • New scarves, hats, gloves, socks
  • Protein drinks (Ensure/Boost)
  • Adult Depends
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Laundry detergent
  • Facial tissue, toilet paper
  • Soap, lotion, grooming sets

Comprehensive Plan Update 2023

It has been six years since the adoption of the 2017 Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Comprehensive Plan and now it’s time to give the City’s Rank 1 Plan an update.
