The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is hosting an I-25 S-Curve Study public meeting on Wednesday, April 24 at 5:00 p.m.at CNM Smith Brasher Hall, 717 University Blvd SE. The Solid Waste Management Department and Keep Albuquerque Beautiful will partner with Quelab Makerspace and Fuse Makerspace to host this year’s Fixit Clinic on Saturday, February 24, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, at the Quelab Makerspace, 680 Haines Ave NW. Bring your broken household items and learn from our experienced coaches how they can be repaired. This is a free, all-ages event where people can learn how to assess, disassemble, and hopefully repair broken household items instead of sending them to the landfill. The acceptable items include bikes, small appliances, electronics, and sewing projects.
There is also need for skilled individuals who are handy and experienced in sewing, woodwork, leatherwork, electronics, small appliances, and jewelry, so please register if you have any of these skills.
