E-Waste Collection Event at Tingley Beach Saturday, April 26th

The ABQ BioPark is teaming up with ACTenviro and New Mexico Computer Recyclers to host an e-waste recycling event at Tingley Beach on Saturday, April 26 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. You can just drive through and drop off old and used electronics. You can bring old cell phones, cables, keyboards, and almost anything with a plug to the north parking lot of ABQ BioPark Tingley Beach. While many items will be accepted, please note that TVs, microwaves, vacuums, refrigerators and freezers cannot be accepted. ABCWUA Hosting Online Landscape Class April 18th and Offering Rebate on Water Bill

The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA) invites you to attend a free online class called “3 Steps to Landscape Success” on Friday, April 18 at 12:00 noon. This class is designed to help our community learn some new ways to weather the drought this upcoming irrigation season. Eligible attendees will receive a $20 rebate on their water bill for participating. Deadline to Get NM Real ID Is May 7, 2025

The deadline to get your NM Real ID is Wednesday, May 7, 2025. A Real ID is required by federal law if you want to board a domestic flight, enter a federal building, military base, or nuclear facility. If you haven’t yet gotten your NM Real ID, you are encouraged to do so as soon as possible, to avoid possible delays if you wait until the deadline date.
