The NW Area Command Police Substation has new hours during the COVID – 19 initiative. The new hours will be from 10:00am to 3:00pm, for anyone wanting to make a police report and or pick up a police report.

Report a Crime
We currently accept online reports for the following categories:
- Auto Burglary
- Auto Vandalism
- Lost Property
- Telephone Harassment
- Theft or Larceny
Telephone Reporting Unit
The Telephone Reporting Unit is responsible for reports where the suspects’ identity is unknown as well as all minor crime reports that do not require any field investigation by patrol officers in the field.
The Telephone Reporting Unit (TRU) is staffed by civilian employees. Crimes with no suspect information or evidence (fingerprints, video, witnesses etc.) can be documented by the Telephone Reporting Unit.

The following are examples of reports that can be taken over the telephone:
- Auto Burglary
- Larceny
- Lost Items (i.e. cell phones, purse)
- Vandalism/Graffiti
- Runaways
- Simple Assault and Battery
- Harassment/Threats
- Embezzlement
- Indecent Exposure
- Fraud/Forgery
If a Telephone Reporting Unit employee is unavailable, leave a message or file an online report.
Report Other Crimes
The Telephone Reporting Unit can only take reports where the identity of the suspect is unknown.
