The Hawthorne Book Fair is coming up the first week of May and volunteers are needed to make this event a success. The Book Fair takes place Monday, May 8 – Friday, May 12 and volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and have completed a background clearance with the Albuquerque Public Schools. The Book Fair has been a great success in previous years and can be this year if enough volunteers are found. The APS background clearance can take a few weeks, so if you are interested in volunteering, you are encouraged to start the process now.
