ONC Hosting Virtual “Lunch and Learn” Training Session on Handling Neighborhood Conflict

The Office of Neighborhood Coordination (ONC) invites the public to attend their upcoming virtual Lunch and Learn: Strategies For Managing Neighborhood Conflict, on Thursday, March 31, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Dr. Rudy Garcia, EdD, will provide this timely training on handling neighborhood conflict. This training provides attendees with the knowledge necessary in handling conflict between neighbors. How individuals learn to handle conflict sets the stage for everything they do in life. Conflict is not easy to deal with and learning how to handle it can result in positive ways to solve issues. It allows us to clarify our own thoughts and ideas. Learning how to manage conflict and channel its energy in a positive way creates success for all parties involved in the conflict. Four types of conflict will be identified in the training: personal; subject or issue; procedural; and competitive.

This 2-hour training session will include handouts for attendees and the opportunity to join the panel and ask questions. To register, visit: https://cabq.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_eUQ-38BYQmSYQ1iul4ZCoQ
